Donating reusable items is an important part of combating the environmental impact of producing and disposing of clothing, footwear, housewares, books, toys and more. Items we all use daily and are often no longer wanted long before their usefulness is done.

Whether we evaluate and resell in our stores, or ensure it is responsibly recycled, you can bring items to Talize and be confident that we do everything possible to extend the life of your donation.

How To
Donate
Donations can be dropped off at any time during store operating hours.
Please place items in bags or other suitable containers and drop them off at the designated Donation Centre area at the store. When you ring the doorbell, a team member will quickly come to assist you with unloading your donations.

FAQ
How do I donate?
Each Talize location has a Donation Centre, where you can drop off your gently used items. All items should be contained in a bag(s) before dropping them off at the Donation Centre.
Donations can also be dropped off in our donation bins, located outside each of our stores.
What happens to donated items that don't get sold?
In the event that we are unable to sell an item, we work with various recycling companies to ensure that wherever possible an item is reused or resold in some way. We do everything possible to keep items out of landfills.
If I want to donate but am unable to visit the donation centre, can I arrange a pickup?
Talize unfortunately doesn’t offer home pick-ups.
Are there any incentives for donating?
Yes! As a thank you for your donations, you’ll receive a 20% coupon that can be used toward your next purchase. Several times throughout the year, we also offer 30% off discount events. Customers can also sign up for our newsletter to stay up to date on upcoming offers and promotions.
