How to Donate
At the moment, we only ship within Ontario – we hope to ship farther soon!
We ship via Canada Post Expediated Parcel delivery so shipping times will vary. Your order will be shipped within 3 business days of being placed and a tracking number will be included in your shipping confirmation email.
We charge a flat shipping fee of $5.00 per location thatitems are shipped from. Your shopping cart will display the number of locations you are currently shipping from.
We also offer FREE store pick-up.

For your order to qualify for store pick-up, all items in the order must be from the same location.
When you get to checkout, select "Pick Up" under Delivery Method, and the address of the pick-up location will appear. Orders are usually ready within 1-3 business days of being placed.
You will receive a confirmation email when your order is ready for pick-up.
Product bundles are final sale and are non-returnable. For all other qualifying items, we will accept returns within 14 days of product arrival/pick-up. You may return items to any Talize location or submit a return request through our returns portal to receive shipping instructions. Please visit our Returns page for more information.

How to Donate
Each Talize location has a donation centre, where you can drop off your gently used items. For more information, please visit our donate page.
We accept clothing, toys, linens, books, housewares and shoes. For more information, please visit our donate page.
We do not accept household items (eg: TVs, furniture, computers etc.), baby items (eg: car seats, cribs, strollers etc.), safety items (eg: a helmet), health items (eg: blood pressure testing) and gardening machinery.

Yes. All donated items are quarantined for a specific period of time before being placed on the sales floor. Quarantine duration is dependent on the item - hard surface items, such as housewares are quarantined for at least 72 hours and textiles are quarantined for at least 24 hours.
In the event that we are unable to sell an item, we work with various recycling companies to ensure that wherever possible an item is reused or resold in some way. We do everything possible to keep items out of landfills.
Talize unfortunately doesn't offer home pick-ups. However, our partner company Recycling Rewards does some home pick-ups when their truck is in your area and will gladly pick up your donations.

Bring your items to a Talize store within 7 days of purchasing, accompanied by the original sales receipt and all original tags attached to all items being returned. Our sales associates will be happy to help with all return related inquiries!

Covid-19 Safety Measures
We understand how difficult this time has been for our customers. While our doors are open, we will continue to enforce strict safety measures to provide the safest shopping experience for all.
These safety measures include:
- Enhanced hygiene and health practices, including frequent disinfecting and sanitization throughout the store, and in particular high-touch areas.
- Providing our employees with personal protective equipment.
- Store capacity limits will be enforced where required by provincial regulations.
- Social distancing measures have been implemented throughout the stores, including the Donation Centre and at checkout (please maintain a safe distance of 2m/6ft from others.
- Face masks are mandatory to be worn by all employees and customers throughout the entire shopping experience
- Employees continue to practice social distancing, increased hand washing, and will stay at home should they feel ill
- Clothing coming from change rooms are placed on a separate rack and are quarantined for 24hrs

Yes, we are currently limiting the number of shoppers in our stores. Maximum capacity is dependent on store size, available distancing space and current government restrictions in place. When a situation occurs that we have reached maximum capacity we will ask shoppers to lineup outside and wait until there is capacity.
No we are currently not taking customer temperatures. However, where required by government regulations, we are asking that all customers read through our COVID-19 questionnaire prior to entering stores, to ensure they have no symptoms and haven’t traveled in 14 days. We do take the temperature of employees where required by government regulation.
Yes, fitting rooms are open. To practice safe distancing, we’ve implemented a rule where every other fitting room is closed to allow for spacing.
Yes, all fitting rooms are thoroughly disinfected after each use.
All unpurchased clothing items from the fitting rooms are quarantined for up to 24 hours.
